Responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance and management of Encompass Loan Operating System ("LOS") to ensure fully leveraging the system and plug-in platforms. Implementation of releases/upgrades, train platform users, log maintenance change requests, and participation in user groups. Responsible for user training, system mapping, SDK and assisting with vendor management.
This position offers the flexibility of working remotely from home in Maine, Massachusetts or New Hampshire.
Qualified candidates must have prior experience with Encompass.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees platform business rules, program and product codes, loan templates and workflow progression and regulatory compliance
Functions as top level support for business line and end users, assisting with their daily questions, concerns and proper usage of systems
Anticipates, mitigates, identifies, troubleshoots and resolves LOS workflow and system problems, escalating when necessary
Effectively prioritizes and executes tasks in a high-pressure environment
Manages incoming help desk requests, creating and clearing tickets in a timely manner and accelerating items to Ellie Mae tech support as needed.
Performs and documents system maintenance, staying within parameters of internal loan codes and loan policy
Leads weekly Encompass management and maintenance meetings including preparation of agenda and meeting minutes
Develops working relationships with Business Line Managers, IT, User Groups, Compliance and vendors
Maintains Loan Setup settings as applicable to ongoing business needs, and create and record new loan products
Creates and maintains report library, building custom reports and documents as necessary for business needs
Conducts research on emerging products, services, protocols and standards in support of LOS software development efforts
3+ years of experience in mortgage lending and operations
Prior experience administering Encompass platform
Ability to document and maintain LOS configuration and process information
Adept at reading, writing and interpreting technical documentation (upgrade/release data)
Encompass System Administrator
Mortgage Compliance knowledge
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to perform hands-on LOS software and hardware troubleshooting
Ability to document and maintain configuration and process information
Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language
Ability to identify training needs, prepare and facilitate training for end users; this includes new employee training, regulatory changes, new features, and refresher training as required
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Ability to conduct research for products that support mortgage loan workflow improvements
