Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

• Two years minimum EMT-B experience.

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Email, Internet).

• Pass background investigation and pre-employment drug test

• Drivers license and 3 years clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.

• Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, and other incidents.

• Administer first aid treatment to sick or injured persons.

• Produce accurate, legible, and complete documentation on all incidents. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

• Excellent customer service skills and behaviors toward internal and external customers and co-workers.

• Follow medical control facilities judgment regarding treatment of patients

License/Certification

• Licensed as an EMT-B by the The Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS), located within the Wyoming Department of Healths Public Health Division and maintained in good standing.

• Meet state and county certification requirements for EMT - basic (EMT-1).

• American Heart Association CPR certification and in good standing (BLS/BCLS).
