Ensures proper computer operation for the end-user through best practices.

Monitors Security Authorization Management (SAM) notices to insure EMR and Practice Management users are created, changed, and/ or deleted.

Verifies accuracy and completeness of input data, scanning and makes changes and corrections as needed.

Collaborates with the EMR manager, CEO and IT to assure that training throughout the system is consistent and accurate.

Assists in the development and updating of training documents and material for new users.

Researches and assists with appropriate projects, situations and/or problems as assigned.

Assist with orientation and training of personnel and students.

Minimum Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Associate's degree preferred

  • Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.

Required Skills

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Minimum Work Experience

  • 1 year electronic medical record experience required
  • 1 year healthcare experience required
  • 1 year with computer systems required
