COMPANY NAME: AccessPoint RI
JOB TITLE: Employment Specialist
LOCATION: Cranston, RI
HOURS: Full Time
Assist individuals (i.e. though demonstration, repetition, verbal and gestural instruction) in learning job tasks.
Assist individuals in establishing community employment relationships, schedules and adherence to work policy.
Support Individuals as needed (i.e. setting work pace, implement work responsibilities, correcting work, etc.) to ensure success on the job.
Problem solves issues with the individual and employer.
Assist in development and implementation of all individuals plan for services, which assist in increasing individual participation in daily activities.
Completion of all assigned documentation, including daily schedules, annual summaries, progress notes, data sheets, etc.
Transport Individuals to/from work.
Assist in working out schedule and schedule conflicts.
Successful candidates will have:
High School Diploma required.
At least 1 year Human Services.
Willingness and ability to complete CPR, NCI (Nonviolent crisis intervention) Human Rights and other required trainings.
Access and provision of an insured automobile on an ongoing basis.
Working knowledge of employment supports.
Ability to read/write English, ability to instruct individuals.
Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats.
