Direct Counsel is seeking and Employment Law Associate for a prestige growing law firm based in San Francisco, Ca. Our client recently received Gold Status recognition for Law Firm Sustainability and scored in the top 100 firms nationally. Come join a nationwide network!

The ideal candidate will have:

·         3-5 years of experience in Labor and Employment

·         Juris Doctorate, and licensed to practice law in State of CA

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Experience in defending against single plaintiff litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, reasonable accommodation.

  • Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.

  • Experience drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery.

  • Experience drafting and arguing motions including dispositive and discovery motions,

  • Experience taking and defending deposition including taking plaintiffs deposition and defending deposition of corporate witnesses

  • Experience in employment counseling on federal and state employment laws and regulations.

    • Compensation and Benefits:

    ·         Salary Range of $195,000-$245,000

    ·         Medical, Dental, Vision, sick and vacation pay is available along with other ancillary benefits
