Reporting to the Marketing Manager: Large Group, Small Business, Specialty the role of the Marketing Strategy Summer Intern is critical to the success of Blue Shield of California and the Employer Marketing department in realizing its goals and objectives. This individual will play a key role as part of the Large Group, Small Business, Specialty team in delivering and collaborating on all aspects of marketing strategy. The Summer Intern Marketing Strategy role will also provide project management support. Specifically, the Marketing Strategy Summer Intern role will be accountable for:
Develop and deploy social media campaign for key sale cycle (Sept Nov)
Source and compile broker roundtable marketing print and promotional materials
Develop and deploy digital broker roadshow marketing campaign
Additional responsibilities as requested by manager
Bachelor's degree not required; emphasis on business, marketing, design, or analytics course of study preferred
Two or more years of marketing (or relevant) experience preferred
Master's degree not required
Candidate Profile and Requirements:
Experience providing creative/design or data/analytical presentations preferred.
