The Human Resources team builds collaborative strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to support the organization's mission, goals and initiatives. We develop areas such as workforce staffing and development, operational support, compensation, payroll, benefits, employee relations and organizational effectiveness. We strive to ensure that the most talented and qualified applicants are placed in our health care institutions, and that they receive the best administrative, employee training and safety support available.

As a team member, this position assists leadership to achieve its initiatives, strategies and objectives by ensuring employee compliance with company policies, procedures and governmental regulations. It advises employees and management on the full spectrum of employee and labor relations issues.

Responsibilities include coaching and corrective action via enforcement of corporate policy/procedures related to complaint investigation, discipline, discharge, and dispute resolution. Where applicable, the position serves as the primary interface between the Employer and unions for collective bargaining, contract implementation and dispute resolution up to and including arbitration. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Five (5) years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager, or direct work experience in employee relations.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multi-union environments, contract negotiations, laws and regulations applicable to healthcare preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Determine Recruiting strategy for the location to include managing labor/staffing needs for the base. This is accomplished by working with National recruiting and/or station operations to fill and engage employees for vacant positions. * Partners with Management in all areas to achieve goals and objectives of both the base and the Company. * Plans and conducts new employee orientation, to foster positive attitude toward company goals. * Ensures compliance with Union/Federal Contracts to include enrollment, dues and fringe benefits. * Acts as the Designated Employee Representative for the Company and Federal Drug and Alcohol programs. * Ensures employee separation notices and related documentation are complaint with policy, practice and regulations. Conducts exit interviews to determine reason for separation. * Partners with Management to reduce absenteeism, overtime and turnover. * Represents organization at personnel related hearings and investigations. * Ensures proper disciplinary actions are conducted in a timely and consistent manner. * Responsible for developing and implementing base AAP. * Assist with employee issues such as appraising performance, rewards, addressing complaints and conflict resolution. * Ensure compliance of federal, state and local employment laws. * Maintain personnel, medical, background and confidential records. * Manages payroll and Worker's Compensation program. * Manages HR training needs for all departments. * Adheres to location attendance and tardiness standards. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
