What you'll be doing...

You will serve as the primary point of contact for responding to internal Equal Employment Opportunity complaints in matters of discrimination and harassment. For each case, you'll conduct an internal investigation including interviewing relevant parties and gathering documentation, and articulate your findings. You will also serve as an adviser to an assigned HR Business Partner team on various matters such as conducting effective investigations, corrective action recommendations, and routine employee relations matters.   • Ensuring compliance with EEO and related federal/state laws, and Company policies by reviewing harassment and discrimination complaints and recommending appropriate resolutions.

  • Being a trusted adviser to HR Business Partner client groups; keeping pulse on employee relations (ER) trends and issues within client groups; and providing advice and counsel on ER matters.

  • Communicating updates on ER processes, policies and tools.

  • Working with ER team to continuously update available resources for placement on internal intranet.

  • Delivering training on various ER topics, such as Respectful Workplace and Conducting Investigations.

What we're looking for...

You enjoy digging into the details but don't lose sight of the big picture. You listen intently and can relate to people from a wide range of backgrounds. You establish rapport easily and maintain positive strong professional relationships in what can sometimes be contentious situations. You are comfortable balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Knowledge of Title VII, ADA, FML and ADEA.

  • Experience investigating employee complaints and managing employee relations matters.

Even better if you have:

  • Juris Doctor Degree or legal training/experience.

  • Two or more years of experience handling discrimination and harassment complaints filed with the U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission and state agencies.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate collaborative solutions to multi-disciplinary problems.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence through relationships.

  • Knowledge of labor relations.

  • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.

Job Description Job Description: An opening exists in the functional validation group for an engineer with an interest in PCI Express (PCIe), embedded low level programming, and debug of complex ASICs. This group is a cross functional team of talented engineers tasked with pre-silicon and post-silicon validation of Microsemi's NVMe Flash controller products. The team is responsible for emulation validation, ensuring functional specification compliance, system interoperability under a wide range of operating environments (i.e., both hardware platforms and operating systems), measuring/analyzing performance, and system level debug of post silicon issues. The team also creates the hardware and software validation infrastructure necessary to perform these tasks. Team members work with architects/designers and influence the architecture, features, and performance of future products. Responsibilities: * Plan, develop, code, and execute pre-silicon and post-silicon validation plans * System level debug of post-silicon hardware and software issues * Build and support validation infrastructure through the development of embedded software, device drivers, and test tools Job Requirements Required: * Bachelor or Master degree in CS, CE, EE with 7+ yrs.
