MaineHealth has established an Employee Health Call Center to respond to our employee#s questions about Covid-19.# In this role you will support the health and safety of our employees by responding to questions about Covid-19 and work eligibility.# Full training available for all qualified candidates.# The call center is open 6AM to 6PM, flexible schedule available.# The call center is based at our Westbrook, Maine campus - onsite parking available!# The ideal candidate will be available for 2##or more shifts per week, 8 hours shifts are preferred but not requried. Ideal candidate will be available to start ASAP with availability through Fall 2020. Position Summary The Employee Health Nurse provides services including injury assessment, triage, post offer pre employment nursing assessments,#employee education, continuous process improvement, and regulatory compliance. #Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, outcome#identification, planning, implementation, documentation and evaluation of the effects of nursing care.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: BS degree in Nursing is preferred. Evidence of 10 hours of ongoing education per year.
License/Certifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state of Maine. Experience: 2 years of prior Occupational Health clinical experience preferred.
Demonstrated competency in applying evidence based knowledge, theory, practices, principles, and processes of professional nursing. Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and health care team members. Ability to identify potential crisis situations involving patients and/or families and to initiate appropriate action.
