In promoting optimal health and well-being in Providence Saint Joseph Health caregivers, the CHS Call Center RN is responsible for providing clinical caregiver health services, primarily through telephonic and virtual means, and in Caregiver Health Services offices at times. The CHS Center RN ensures compliance with state and federal requirements and PSJH policies and protocols and utilizes the tools provided to ensure accuracy of information and direction to our caregiver and core leader customers. Accountable for timely and effective response, management, resolution, escalation of incoming inquiries, in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Required qualifications:

  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire -or-

  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire -or-

  • Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire -or-

  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire -or-

  • New Mexico Registered Nurse License upon hire -or-

  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire -or-

  • Montana Registered Nurse License upon hire

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

  • 2 years of experience as an RN in an acute or post-acute setting

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • 1 year of experience in an Employee/Occupational Health setting
  • 6 months of experience with computer databases and systems, such as Microsoft Office, Excel, OHM, technologically savvy

Representatives will work in a fast-pasted environment handling calls from members and providers.</p><p>Your role in our mission</p><ul><li><p>Identifies, prioritizes, and resolves most questions.</p></li><li><p>Receives calls and provides accurate, acceptable answers to queries and concerns.</p></li><li><p>De-escalates situations involving dissatisfied callers, offering patient assistance and support.</p></li><li><p>Guides callers through troubleshooting and navigating the Medicaid sites and/or services</p></li><li><p>Reviews customer or client accounts, providing updates and information per established program policies.</p></li></ul><p>What we're looking for</p><ul><li><p>At least two years of Medicaid claims/policies, healthcare insurance, or healthcare industry experience.</p></li><li><p>Ability to follow written policies, procedures, and guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and interpret basically to moderately complex documents, such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and government/healthcare guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer service skills, professional telephone and presentation skills, excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills.</p></li><li><p>Good personal computer and business solutions software skills.</p></li></ul><p>What you should expect in this role</p><p>This position requires working full-time in an office in Anchorage, Alaska</p><p>#LI-NB1</p><p>#LI-ONSITE</p><p>The pay range for this position is $36,900.00 - $46,100.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
