The Risk Advisor generates new client relationships and maintains existing client relationships by identifying and capturing market opportunities to apply our insurance and risk management value proposition to support the clients needs and passions.
Sold a new account and renewed existing accounts in keeping with firm and individual goals while building relationships with clients
Presented proposals in a professional manner, reviewing coverage's in detail to ensure understanding
Finalized sales, coordinated the collection of deposits or premiums, arranged for binders and certificates, and briefed the service team on the policy sale

Developed information and recommendations for prospective clients, presented proposals and adhered to firm policies and procedures for writing a new account
Maintained a concern for accuracy, timeliness and completion when interacting with current and prospective clients, the firm and insurance company partners to minimize potential for errors and omissions claims while demonstrating strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Maintained understanding and knowledge of insurance industry and underwriting criteria for insurance company partners represented by our firm in order to effectively communicate to all involved
Identified and solicited sales prospects from various sources
Positively represented the firm and our insurance company partners in the community
Performed other functions as assigned by leadership
Looked for opportunities to improve the firm, business segment, and processes and brought issues and discrepancies to appropriate leadership
Current Georgia Life & Health Insurance License, as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide risk management consulting or risk transfer solutions, or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days
Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to learn appropriate insurance company and firm software programs
Demonstrates firm's core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with corporate culture
Fast-paced multi-tasking environment. Travel as required.
