Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch service to our clients. This role involves managing client accounts, ensuring the smooth delivery of benefits programs, and fostering strong client relationships.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits account management or a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits programs and related regulations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and benefits administration software
  • Professional certification (e.g., CEBS, PHR, SPHR) is a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, being a point of contact for all employee benefits-related matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Assist with the implementation and administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review plan performance, address concerns, and recommend enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide clients with informed guidance.
  • Assist in the renewal process, negotiating with carriers and vendors to secure the best terms for clients.
  • Provide training and support to clients on benefits administration and utilization.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to benefits plans promptly and effectively.
