Job Summary:

Founded in 1992, CGI Benefits, within Acrisure's Southeast Platform, responds and functions as an extension of their clients' benefits department. They pride themselves on their established relationships with both local and national carriers to continue to provide the best pricing and best value to their clients. CGI Benefits has a current need for a full-time Account Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive inbound calls and direct them to the appropriate party

  • Give information and help to solve customer problems

  • Assist with eligibility, enrollment, implementation, renewal, and annual review processes

  • Process and ensure accuracy of client forms and applications for submission

  • Verify coverage for providers

  • Communicate and develop business relationships with clients

  • Scan & email documents

  • Maintain professional attitude, stability, and tolerance in multi-task, time critical environment

  • ID card requests

  • CRM data entry

  • Daily office tasks such as Outlook Inbox management, etc.

  • Math calculation for payroll deduction, safe harbor and other repetitive tasks for clients

  • Online carrier submissions in varying formats

  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or the recognized equivalent, required

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, required

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, required

  • Bilingual, preferred

  • At least 2 years of prior clerical/customer service experience, required

  • Interest in insurance industry and receiving insurance license, required

  • Strong organization skills

  • Strong attention to deadlines
