As part of our strategic servicing team you will anticipate and review the needs of our clients for all insurance products and facilitate the solutions for their particular needs. This process includes face to face meetings with business owners or HR professionals, presenting our solutions to clients and helping clients get more value out of their insurance program within their organization. You will work within a team, which includes a marketer, an account manager, and a sales representative. An account executive's focus is on implementing solutions and building and maintaining a successful and long-term relationship with our clients.
Identify needs and refer customers to business Select partners within and across lines of business who can best meet those needs.
Develop and manage the annual Service Partnership Agreement with the client and BIA/BC to ensure all client service expectations are being met or ideally, exceeded.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy to strive for any work presented to client being error-free.
Provide support expertise to Account Manager including, assisting in the resolution of client service issues brought to the Benefits Insurance Advisor/Benefits Consultant's attention.
Anticipate the needs of clients for all Employee Benefit products and take steps to meet these needs including products offered by HR Solutions and our TPA business.
Create, organize and present, along with the BIA/BC, all education and/or employee benefit meetings, using tools such as My Benefits Communication and Power Point to communicate professionally and articulately to clients and their employees.
Implement strategic decisions that are made during the mid-term and renewal processes with the BIA/BC and the client. This may include working directly with the marketing department for carrier selection, analyzing of plan designs, providing alternate funding options, negotiating rates with carriers and attending client renewal meetings. Ensure the renewal process is completed timely and with accuracy.
Execute the implementation of value added services provides by organizing ERISA welfare benefit filings, communicating claims experience with clients on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis, completing the necessary paperwork and client communication for our Cafeteria and COBRA administration and other services as necessary to ensure client's satisfaction with AFG's suite of products.
Keep clients up to date with legislative and mandate changes or any other benefit related news, updates and trends.
Share a strong working knowledge of all AFG Strategic Partners and the services they can provide clients.
Solicit feedback from clients periodically to ensure service expectations are being met or ideally, exceeded.
