In this position, you support the e-Mobility Group with expertise to coordinate incentives programs between DTNA Customers and other stake holder like government entities. E-Mobility is an emerging, exciting technology, and the right person will drive DTNA's success by helping our engineering department, customers and network adopt the new vehicles into their operations.

Responsibilities

Research market for best incentives, grants on federal, state and utility level.

Oversight of professional incentive support companies

Developing and executing an incentive strategy for a successful deployment of DTNA electric trucks

Sourcing vendor support and leading vendor management as well as entire application and execution process of incentives.

Drive and oversee applications for grants and incentive programs for DTNA and their customers

Create and maintain a database of all agreements, partnerships, and incentives by customer, region and governmental program

Coordinate and support activities with DTNA compliance and regulatory affairs department for electric vehicle deployment

Foster and expand relationship with important governmental agency representatives

Support engineering, financial services, aftermarket, sales, and other departments by providing the utility perspective to achieve a mutual benefit for Daimler, their customers and the utility companies

Lead engagement with utilities and develop partnerships with utilities for successful deployment of electric trucks.

Provide company perspective on incentive programs by working closely with customers and sales

Broaden your expertise outside of your immediate responsibilities and become an expert in e-Mobility topics.

Working closely with outside agency on identifying, securing and executing grants for eMobility along the complete value chain

Developing a push and pull strategy for incentives landscape with DTNAs sales team

Collaborate and facilitate communication between customer, outside agencies and DTNA sales team.

  • Bachelor's degree in business with 2-4 years of related experience OR an associate's degree with 4-8 years of related experience

  • At least 1 year of group leader, project lead, or mentoring experience required

  • An attached resume is required

  • Experience in automotive/heavy duty truck industry or related experience preferred

  • Must be well organized, able to handle multiple, detailed tasks, and work professionally with various levels of DTNA management

  • Experience with Governmental Affairs, Incentives or Grant applications required

  • Customer orientated with a real sense for the marketplace required

  • Excellent management and leadership skills preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills and, oral and written communication skills required

  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%) required

  • Detail oriented, reliable, and self-motivated

  • Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and ongoing change

  • Enthusiastic about being at the forefront of customer value driven eMobility

  • Experience working in various Daimler Trucks organizations

  • Fluent in English Required

  • German (Intermediate) preferred; additional language(s) appreciated.

Permit Coordinator (R18-541) In this role, you'll work within the Utility Asset Management department to administer and coordinate the pole permitting process for Joint Use by evaluating, validating, processing, and tracking pole attachment permit applications through its life cycle from new submittals to construction complete. You'll also process pole attachment permits for electric power, cable television, and telephone companies seeking to attach their wires to poles owned by PGE. You will support our journey by: Processing Permits, including: * Receiving and validating electronic permit requests via the joint use portal and National Joint Utilities Notification System (NJUNS) PA module – front line to ensure permits are complete, accurate, and consistent with licensee's facilities attachment agreement. * Capturing, creating and notifying Licensees of violations caught by field inspectors at pre- and post-construction inspection. * Acting as the point of contact to both internal and external customers on permitting status. * Facilitating requests for Make Ready work and relay cost back to Licensee for approval. * Working in collaboration with team members to develop and improve processes and suggest process improvements or initial process design. * Ensuring timely response and feedback to customers in accordance with Oregon Public Utility Commission (OPUC) administrative rules and departmental metrics. * Ensuring data integrity and accurate input of attachment data into multiple systems. * Creating pre-inspection and non-design work orders. * Determining if Licensee or other attachment criteria are met. * Coordinating creation of maps and attach Licensee provided maps for service requests for field inspectors to locate poles and inspect proposed and/or constructed attachments on PGE poles. * Assessing accurate complex billing within the guidelines of the Oregon Administrative Rules, internal policies and contract terms. * Creating accurate backup for invoicing associated with pole attachment permits, inspections, code violation sanctions, and make ready which must be consistent with contracts, Joint Use billing policies and practices, and OPUC Administrative Rules. * Receiving and researching customer inquiries related to permit status, attachment records, and disputed charges on permit-related invoices, recommend appropriate resolution to management. * Processing disconnects notices as licensees remove permitted attachments and notify PGE. * Serving as a liaison to external customers as it relates to providing joint use record and work order status updates and requesting additional information as needed. * Following up with customers on permitting that was given conditional approval to move forward through permitting cycle progression and to avoid permit expiration. * Working with field inspectors to investigate any permit deficiencies. * Investigating and reconciling system mapping issues due to system/work group misinformation, making sure that unmapped poles are being communicated and updated in GIS. * Providing permitting report and analysis of activity to management for customer business as usual meetings. * Updating appropriate systems to notify licensees of National Electric Safety Code violations identified on PGE facilities. * During storm events, you will be called upon to provide outage support as deemed appropriate by PGE. Provide and Ensure Data Integrity, including: * Completing data clean-up projects to improve data integrity for permit processing and Annual Billing - utilizing Maximo, eRecords, GIS Web viewer, NJUNS, Access databases, and DMS * Running queries for Attachment clean up including Orphaned attachments, unmapped poles and permits exceeding 180 day You will bring the following skills to our team: * High school diploma plus one year of utility experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Additional utility experience strongly preferred * Experience with MAXIMO, GIS, ArcFM Viewer, eRecords, PGE Outage Management (OMS), and PeopleSoft is preferred * A current driver's license and a history of safe driving practices. * Basic knowledge of fundamentals of electricity * Working knowledge of basic accounting and bill entries * Thorough knowledge of National Joint Utilities Notification System (NJUNS) * Thorough knowledge of OPUC regulations, FCC, Telecommunication Act, NESC, SOX and Joint Use Facilities Attachment Agreements * Thorough knowledge of computer applications including MS Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word * Thorough knowledge of Joint Use Permitting requirements * Advanced skills in interpersonal relationships and communications * Advanced skills in customer service Join us today and power your potential!
