Communicate with fellow Technologists on the previous shift and Site Engineers regarding recurring or significant issues
Attend Daily Scheduling Meeting to prioritize work load and operator assignments
Ensure Daily Checklist is completed at the start of each shift. Submit Maximo request as appropriate. Communicate site issues with Site Engineers.
Ensure testing on the schedule is compatible with site staffing and capability. Communicate concerns with Scheduling and resolve
Responsible for Proper and Consistent Vehicle Setup for testing
Responsible for Technician Test Quality and Productivity
Interface with Requestors, Trades, Engineering and Management to support testing
Troubleshoot /Diagnose test and site issues, initiate resolutions and escalate as necessary
Validate test sequence and procedures for all testing. Communicate concerns as appropriate
Ensure that post-test comments / questions are being entered into VETS
Disable vehicles as required
Communicate test cancellations to Requestors as required
Work with Scheduling / Supervision to backfill open test slots
Understand all site alarms and address as appropriate
Operation of RSM fan and RSM fan modes
Understand ATI operation and troubleshooting
Review Technician Driver EER and ASCR ratings. Provide training as necessary.
Provide training to ensure competent driving of manual and automatic transmissions
Ensure a vehicle is delivered to responsible sites at the end of each shift in support of the next shift.
Ensure sites are in good shape to be handed off to the next shift
Ensure that all parking areas are organized and cleaned up.

High school diploma required.
Minimum of six (6) years of related experience.
Ability to skillfully operate and work with a wide variety of hand and power tools.
Ability to read and work from blueprints, diagrams, or sketches.

Moto truck operation
Moto truck battery charging
Setup and dispense of barrel fuel
Using fuel room dispensers
Draining fuel from a vehicle
SPCC training and spill control
Prep Process Check List
Battery charging done safely
Lab layout and RFID system
Building alarms and proper evacuation
VETS and MEXA computers

Work hours are normally 8 hours per day and 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary. Must have flexibility of work days to cover weekend testing requirements.

Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Dependable personal transportation to work site is required.
