Overview

Amyx is seeking to hire a Emerging Technology Task Lead located at Ft. Belvior, VA. This position will be supporting the United States Army Rapid Equipping Force (REF)

Responsibilities

Determine and recommend appropriate materiel solutions or non-materiel practices and processes to satisfy customer-defined requirements or desired capabilities. Engage U.S.

Army units, government and academic partners, and the defense industry to identify and understand capability gaps, developing partner relationships and teaming opportunities, and current and emerging technologies in support of the REF. Advise REF leadership on the best approach and recommended resources for select engagements.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Secret

  • 5+ years of experience

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Army Experience

  • G-3/5/7 or Operations Experience

  • Market Research

  • Gap Analysis

This position will be supporting the United States Army Rapid Equipping Force (REF) Responsibilities Research, analyze, and procure materiel solutions that satisfy immediate warfighter operational needs in support of Global Army Warfighter Requirements. Identify materiel solutions that focus on Government off-the-shelf/Commercial off-the-shelf (GOTS/COTS) items and emerging technologies that can be brought forward to the current force. Conduct mission analysis, including market research, to assist the Government in determining potential solutions for requirements. Provide logistical support to the REF as it relates to the research and development of materiel and non-materiel solutions in support of REF initiatives.
