You'll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth. Our Policy, Strategy, and Leadership - Practice Support team provides strategic oversight, manages operations, and develops policies for all aspects of PwC's Information Technology team.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:

  • Understanding of emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital twin, distributed ledger technology or blockchain platforms, multi-cloud environments (including Azure, GCP, AWS, Salesforce / Heroku), serverless computing, high-performance computing with GPUs, business-wide networking fabrics, advanced analytics, cryptographic controls for data security and threat modelling;

  • Understanding of process automation, roadmapping, product management (e.g. digital Kanban) and systems architecture / modelling tool;

  • Interpreting the commercial mechanics of Member Firms / Lines of Services and the role of PwC Technology in accelerating the realisation of business value;

  • Working with Member Firms and LOS technology stakeholders to shape and execute Northstar vision underpinned by realistic roadmaps of capability development framed within defined PwC Tech and CTO governance structures;

  • Working with Member Firms / LOS Technology leaders to translate and leverage technology to maximise strategic impact articulated in structured enterprise architectures to help deliver tangible business outcomes;

  • Working with CTO nominated parties as well as with industry specialists to develop comprehensive technology strategies, including IT opportunity assessment, investment portfolio management, information strategy, sourcing strategy, enterprise architecture strategy and more;

  • Analysing current issues and building a fact-based approach to developing and implementing Northstar vision and CTO priorities and roadmaps to address current FY priorities and support future growth that minimises impact of negative technology disruption or enhances realisation of positive tech disruption;

  • Assisting Member Firm / LOS teams to build the required capabilities for growth and innovation in order to sustain consistent pipeline of;

  • Developing a deep understanding of emerging technologies to feed value creation opportunities that often disrupt traditional value chains and challenge orthodoxies;

  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to shape, propose, communicate and implement PwC technology initiatives; and,

  • Contributing to CTO thought leadership at the intersection of PwC Technology and Global, Regional, Local Member Firms / Lines of Services.

Position Overview: Senior Strategist is a seasoned direct marketing professional with hands-on strategic and tactical fundraising agency account management experience. The Strategist has a clear understanding of donor and prospect segmentation, lifecycle marketing and data-driven analysis to maximize efficiency in identifying productive mail segments. The Strategist has low dollar, mid dollar and high dollar donor direct marketing expertise. Well versed in Direct Mail statistics and metrics, the Strategist will be able to make data-based recommendations for segmentation strategies in both Acquisition and Donor Renewal programs. Strategist will develop and execute clients' direct marketing acquisition strategy, and also develop analysis with the client team and assist in developing long-term planning and strategic development. Strategist will analyze, report, give recommendations, and develop strategies on how to improve quality audience selections/recommendations. Strategist is responsible for developing, preparing and/or presenting statistical reports, charts, graphs, and analyses for internal account review and/or client meetings. Strategist is an innovative and resourceful "idea" person with skills in analyzing audience performance and developing new strategies to maximize audience response, grow the client file and generate revenue. Strategist is experienced in the application of creative strategies, production processes, vendor management and analytical reports and metrics. Job Duties and Resposibilities: Reporting & Analytics * Front-line responsibilities include audience segmentation, donor acquisition, evaluation of list brokerage/list management, in-depth results analysis and donor segmentation. * Prepare in-depth analysis of a specific issue within client's program and participate in team or client program review. * Request data from the client or service bureau for the development of reports and presentations. As needed, perform data hygiene and standardization. * Develop report formats and submit reports to appropriate team members for review. Prepare reports and findings and present analysis to team and client. * Identify trends in client data and industry best practices. * Structure tests and report on test results, including statistical significance and next steps. * Analyze and interpret historical campaign performance and apply knowledge to future campaign strategies and planning. * Analyze results and prepare substantiated recommendations for all aspects of acquisition campaigns including: list selection, segmentation, lapsed strategy, ask string strategy and strategic/creative testing. Co-ops & Acquisition * Having established relationships with co-op vendors, and knowledgeable of their depth of service, work with co-op vendors to establish client participation and/or improve performance of modeling efforts and expansion. Facilitate data transfers for building and maintaining cooperative database relationships for clients. * Oversee the development of models and overlays for acquisition and lapsed strategy efforts, including the management of co-ops and vendors. Work closely with in-house performance analytics to test strategies and evaluate results, leveraging this information to maximize member lifetime value across all channels. * Direct all activities associated with list planning, procurement, and rental, and manage relationships with list brokers and purveyors. * Review merge purge strategies and make recommendations.
