Overall responsibility for growth in deposits and loans of the retail branch network. Directly manage the Area Managers of the retail banking division.
Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage Sales and Business Development efforts for the branches within region (45%)
Directly supervise, coach and mentor Area Managers within region (30%)
Create, track and promote sales programs through sales meetings, customer appreciation events, community activities, etc. (20%)
Develop and manage incentive program for retail staff (5%)
Responsible for interviewing and hiring branch management staff
Provide guidance to managers in hiring non management staff
Emerging Market (<12 Retail Branch locations but growing) Duties/Responsibilities:
Direct responsibility and supervision of Office Managers of newest locations still in ramp up.
Direct calling and business development for those branches with no Area Manager assigned.
Work closely with Market President for additional Branch location development and strategic alignment within market.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required - BS/BA business related field preferred
Graduate of Management Training Program or
3+ years of retail banking experience
1+ years of lending experience
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc.
Ability to work in team environment and motivate others
Proven supervisory experience helpful
Professional appearance and demeanor
Good communication skills -- Both written and verbal
Organizational skills and time management
Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Demonstrate active listening skills
Practical application of policies and procedures
Ability to coordinate actions in relation to the actions of others
Ability to foresee problems and develop solutions
