Baltimore Corps is excited to launch the Emerging Leaders Fellowship: HBCU! This initiative offers Morgan State and Coppin State graduates opportunities within Baltimore City government. Baltimore Corps will recruit and place 25 Fellows in impactful roles, boosting their careers and leadership skills over a 12-month period. This program aligns with our mission to develop BIPOC leadership by leveraging local academic talent. The program will start in September, but don't delay, apply today!
Currently, the city is prioritizing roles that require the following educational background and/or experience: Nursing, Engineering, Finances, Housing and Infrastructure (urban planning, inspectors), and Communications.
Roles we will be seeking to fill are: Registered Nurse - School Health, Community Health Nurse I, City Planner I, Budget Management Analyst I, CitiStat I (MOPI), Design Planner I, City Planner II, Design Planner II, Budget Management Analyst II, Citi Analyst II (MOPI), Data Analyst (BCIT), Engineer I, Budget Management Analyst III, Data Scientist (BCIT), City Planner Supervisor, Design Planner Supervisor, Data Scientist, Sr.
Fellows receive competitive starting salaries ranging from $50,000 to $65,000, professional development training, two one-time living stipends, and ongoing support post-programming.
