An Emerging Customers Group Leader job in Cincinnati, OH is currently available. To be considered for this role, you will need at minimum a Bachelors degree and demonstrated leadership experience. In this role, you will be responsible for growing a team by selling engineering and designing services to new customers, driving quality and technical excellence with your team, as well as be responsible for developing customer relationships.

Emerging Customers Group Leader job duties:

Provide technical direction to a team of Detailers, Designers and Engineers as you grow the team

Coordinate with Section Lead

Set group priorities and assign individual tasks

Oversee and approve work performed by group

Provide mentoring and growth opportunities for group

Responsible for accurate time charging, budget, and project management

Perform yearly team member reviews

Responsible to maintain adequate staffing levels and team member skillset

Be the customer point of contact for assigned tasks

Maintain existing customer relationships and fosters new relationships leading to growth of the business

Identify new account growth opportunities within our active and emerging customers

Develop and maintain a positive strategic relationship with our customers to uncover new opportunities, projects or initiatives that require our services

Responsible for group profitability, billability, and growth


Bachelors degree in a mechanical background or equivalent education based on experience in the industry

Current security clearance or ability to obtain

Minimum of 10 years combined of program management or engineering experience

Demonstrated supervisory / leadership experience

Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required

Desired experiences and skills include:

Gas turbine design and/or systems experience

Special Tooling/Support Equipment hardware design experience

Weldment fixtures

Fixtures and clamps for CNC machines

Grinding fixtures

Shipping fixtures/containers

Maintainability & Reliability experience

Manufacturing Engineering experience

Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology

Working knowledge of CAD software program(s) (i.e. Unigraphics NX, Solidworks, CREO or Catia)

Mechanical drawing Checking experience for form/fit/function

GD&T accreditation

Function This is a key executive product role within the GTM business and will provide strategic direction and execution to our new product development and emerging products initiatives. Key Responsibilities * Oversee strategy development of a portfolio of emerging solutions, including responsibility for financial outcomes and leadership of other product managers. * Help create and run one or more new "innovation studios" to drive creative ideation, experimentation, agile development, and commercialization. * Create and execute on a clear, actionable product development roadmap with priorities to deliver optimal results for customers and the business * Execute in an agile product development environment * Engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders from Technology and Operations Services, Enterprise Innovation, Sales, Marketing and other groups to drive alignment and coordinated execution approach * Partner with other product areas (e.g. Retail Bank, Business Banking) to create one U.S. Bank approach * For each initiative, provide business oversight over project team ensuring projects meet required scope, plans are appropriately managed and governed, timely escalation of risks and issues, dependencies and resource requirements are highlighted early. * Ensure compliance to all required internal processes prior to any external commitments are made or any new initiative is moved to "go live" phase. * Help lead cultural revolution by evangelizing new opportunities, cultivating innovation mindset, sharing strong payments expertise, driving publicity, and growing U.S. Bank's reputation as an innovator through speaking engagements, industry events, etc. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience * 10 or more years of product management experience * Four or more years of managerial experience Preferred Skills/Experience * Experienced in agile product development * Understanding of the Payments and Treasury Management landscape and trends * Familiarity with use of Application Programing Interface (APIs), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other emerging technology within Banks * Established track record of participating and leading within industry stakeholder groups * Has interacted with and understands the Fintech space in US * Expertise and experience in go to market strategies and product commercialization US Bank Cincinnati OH
