Location: Bowie, MD (within 30 minutes of Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Annapolis)

Role and Responsibilities:

Dogs and Cats Emergency & Specialty is seeking full-time Emergency Veterinarians to join our expanding team. As a leading veterinary hospital, we offer a collaborative work environment, state-of-the-art facilities, and an exceptional support team.

As an Emergency Veterinarian, your responsibilities will include:

• Handling complex medical emergencies with compassion and professionalism

• Diagnosing and treating animals in emergency situations

• Collaborating with a team of in-house specialists

• Supporting internal and external continuing education programs

• Mentoring new DVMs and interns when applicable

• Perform emergency surgery (if interested and following training)

Schedule:

We understand that work-life balance is critical to your well-being. With this in consideration, we designed the schedule as follows:

• 13 shifts/month

• Minimal on-call

• Predictable schedule rotations
