This position is accountable for providing advanced levels of training in at least two of the following specializations: Incipient, Interior Structural and Advanced Exterior Industrial Fire Brigades, Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Teams, Technical Rescue Teams (confined space and high angle rescue operations), basic EMS training, incident management/incident command and fire protection systems maintenance and testing.
At the specialist level, the individual will be able to conduct all training classes with minimal supervision. In all cases, this position will deliver innovative training and educational solutions to enhance current client relationships, support new long term business-to-business relationships, and reduce the client's risk and FM Global's exposure to loss.
B.A. or Associates degree in Fire Science or National Professional Qualifications Board for the Fire Service Instructor I or equivalent. 7+ years Emergency Services experience as a firefighter, hazardous materials emergency responder, or a technical rescue technician with confined space and/or high angle skills; or 5+ experience as an Emergency Services Trainer (fire, hazardous materials, or technical rescue).
