Our growth has led to a need for compassionate, competent Emergency Services Technicians in our Emergency Department to providecare to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary

Works in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team to assist in the care of patients from admission to discharge. The ED Tech provides routine patient care tasks as outlined by their certification from the state of Missouri.

Maintains equipment according to the manufacturers specifications. Performs all duties at the direction of the Registered Nurse to promote quality outcomes, patient safety, and high patient satisfaction. Provides a clean and uncluttered environment for the patient.

Demonstrates a caring and compassionate behavior at all times. Promptly notifies the RN with any changes in the patients condition Documents data in the electronic record in real time.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED. Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant,Emergency Medical Technican or have completed a fundamentals of nursing course.

Professional Licensure/Registration/Certifications/Other: Certified by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services with either CNA, or EMT.

Will also accept completion of Fundamentals of Nursing Course. BLS current or within first week of hire.

Experience: 1-2 years preferred

The Lab Technical Assistant provides care for birth to pediatric, pediatric/child patients between 1 to 11 years of age; adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult patients between 18 to 64 years; and geriatric patients 65 years and older.
