Emergency Response Warehouse Worker

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Laborers to join our emergency response team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient distribution of emergency supplies, particularly water, to those in need. Your primary responsibilities will include loading vehicles with water, assisting forklift drivers, and performing general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload water supplies and other essential items into and out of vehicles.

• Assist forklift drivers in the safe and efficient movement of goods.

• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure quick and easy access to supplies.

• Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning, organizing, and restocking.

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and priorities.

• Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations as they arise.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) on a regular basis.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Position Requirements

Physical requirements: To perform the essential functions of the job, General Laborer must be able to climb, kneel, lift up to 90 pounds, have a good sense of balance, and exert force to move objects constantly.
