This position is responsible for providing technical and paraprofessional support for the Division of Animal Health. These duties include: program support for animal disease outbreaks; management of day to day functions of the division's case management process as well as CRM; participating in the evaluation of business systems and processes; including how best to utilize technology tools; providing back-up to other program licensing associates; and general administrative support to the division. This position will complete data entry into division databases, analyze data trends, and is responsible for filing and dissemination of reports for various animal disease programs.
Limited statewide travel is required.
Valid drivers license or the ability to provide ones own transportation for work purposes is also required.

Minimum Qualifications (Required - Candidates must have experience and/or education relevant to these areas in order to be considered for the position):
1). Experience in an administrative support role scheduling/organizing meetings (sending electronic invitations, coordinating teleconferences, preparing agenda materials/meeting notes, etc.)
2). Experience utilizing computer programs and databases to enter/track data and receive and generate reports (e.g. Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, CRM, etc.)
3). Experience corresponding with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., responding to public inquiries, assisting others within the work unit, serving as a liaison in contact with federal and state agency representatives, etc.)
A well qualified candidate will also have experience and/or training in the following areas:
1). Experience and/or training utilizing SharePoint or a comparable program
2). Experience utilizing Adobe Acrobat (to perform tasks such as combining documents, bookmarking, text recognition, password-protection, etc.) or a comparable program
3). Experience developing training materials/standards
