TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time physician to a join our talented emergency department team within the Beaumont Health System in Trenton, Michigan. The ED at Trenton experiences 38,000 patient visits per year, is a designated Level II Trauma Center and hosts an Emergency Medicine residency program.
All main specialties are available at the facility with Pediatrics and burns transferred. Physician shifts are 10 hours and are received two months in advance providing excellent work-life balance. Four physician are scheduled daily at the facility along with 11 hours per day of advanced practice clinician coverage.
This ED's EMR is EPIC charting. Elevate your job satisfaction and enjoy the financial rewards of this challenging position. We ask that you be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine and have current ACLS and ATLS certifications.

Trenton is in Wayne County in the southeast portion of Michigan, and at the 2010 census the city population was 18,853. The city is part of Downriver, a collection of mostly blue-collar communities south of Detroit on the west bank of the Detroit River.
Many residents are employed in the city's factories such as the Chrysler Trenton Engine Plant, Solutia, and the Trenton Channel Power Plant. There is rail service in the city, which operates the 21,000-square-foot Trenton Veterans Memorial Library and a historical museum.
