We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team.
The Massachusetts General Hospital Emergency Department is a Level 1 Adult, Pediatric, Burn, and Trauma Center, dedicated to providing emergent/urgent nursing care to adult and pediatric patients.
With 9 distinct clinical areas, including specialized areas for pediatrics and psychiatry, we serve a diverse patient population, exceeding 100,000 patient visits annually. Embedded within the Emergency Department, the Acute Psychiatry Service plays a pivotal role in delivering vital behavioral health care to both pediatric and adult patients, many of whom present with complex medical comorbidities. This position requires the ability to seamlessly transition between providing psychiatric nursing care and attending to emergency medicine patients. The successful candidate must be willing to cross-train and maintain proficiency in both areas of practice. A bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
