Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total patient care as part of an EMS team and functions in the transport environment on a particular shift, in accordance with established corporate philosophy. Orients and trains transport personnel.
Relates effectively with others for continuity of care; maintains positive relations with coworkers, referring and receiving organizations; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel. State Driver's License must be in good standing, 3 points or less. Drives and operates specially equipped emergency vehicles to specified locations at a safe and controlled speed, in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations and standards. EMSVO Credentialing is required.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Non Degree Program : Emergency Medical Technician (Required)
Experience
1 Year experience working as an EMT (Required)
1 Year experience driving a Type III Ambulance (Required)
License/Certifications
DRIVER - Drivers License (Required)
EMT - Cert Emergency Medicine Tech (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
