Emergency Medical Technician / Paramedic - (Ft, PT, Prn, And Temporary Contract)

NaphCare is hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians, Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs / EMTs), or Paramedics to join our team at the Washoe County Jail in Reno, NV. Full Time Day Shifts, Full Time Night Shifts, Part Time, PRN, and 8-13 week temporary contracts are available! Pay rates range $20.90- $26.12 / hr based on shift, site needs, certifications and licensures, and experience. PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.

Position Description and requirements:

• Take and document all patient history and vital signs

• Complete intake screening

• Administer and read PPD

• Draw blood

• Assist with examinations

• Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted EMT-Paramedic certification/license in NEVADA

• Office Lab Assistant License required

• Hold a valid CPR card
