Mission of Role/Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Predictive Analytics & Business Strategy Senior Consultant to play a key role in shaping the future of AC Disaster Consulting. This position will report directly to executive leadership and will provide financial forecasting, hiring strategy insights, business development analysis, and marketing trend evaluation to support the company’s growth and differentiation in the emergency management industry.
As a Senior Consultant, you will leverage predictive analytics, data-driven insights, and market research to optimize our operations, identify opportunities for expansion, and enhance our competitive advantage. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data analysis, strategic planning, and business intelligence in a mission-driven organization.
Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Financial & Business Analytics:
- the successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of database structure/schemas and be able to translate data to deliver on dynamic business objectives
- 5+ year of experience in data analysis, business insights, consulting, or operations research with a focus on operational efficiencies
- Strong expertise in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R)

Hiring & Workforce Planning:
- Analyze labor market trends and forecast hiring needs to support business growth.
- Develop workforce optimization strategies to balance workload and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for improving recruitment and retention using data insights.
Business Development & Market Research:
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging opportunities in emergency management consulting.
- Support proposal development by analyzing competitive landscapes and client needs.
- Assess government contracting trends, funding sources, and regulatory shifts to position AC Disaster Consulting for success.
Marketing & Branding Strategy:
- Analyze marketing performance metrics and customer engagement data to refine outreach strategies.
- Identify trends in digital marketing, social media, and thought leadership for brand differentiation.
- Support content and campaign strategy with data-driven insights on audience engagement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in predictive analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, or SQL).
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, market research methodologies, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing analytics, and hiring trend analysis tools.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will not have supervisory responsibilities, but may serve as lead on projects with senior management oversight.
Expected Hours of Work:
Schedule may vary. Work on evenings and weekends may be required. Dependability and punctuality are paramount.
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 50% travel is expected for this position.
- Must be willing to travel and deploy to client sites for extended periods of time.
Physical Demands:
- Mobility required on-site with clients.
- Sitting or standing for hours at a time.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time if needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the day and as needed.
Working Environment:
- Emergency management personnel may work in an office or home environment or be deployed to the field which may require working outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
- Work may be on-site with clients ex: EOC, hospital, debris sites or local government buildings.
- All AC Disaster Consulting (ACDC) positions are remote work site positions with the home location agreed upon at time of hire.
- If the remote work site locations change, ACDC Human Resources must be made aware, and leadership needs to approve any site changes for business registration and payroll tax purposes.
Requirements
Experience/Education Required:
- A Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Emergency Management, or related field is required.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in business analysis, finance, hiring strategy, or market research.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects or complex portions of projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel.
Experience/Education Preferred:
- Experience in emergency management consulting, government contracting, or disaster response preferred.
- Proficient with Salesforce.
Additional Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsored visa is required. We are not able to employ those located outside of the US.
- Must pass company and any applicable client background check and reference check upon offer of employment.
