Job Description: The Emergency Management and PBX Operations Manager has oversight of the hospital#s PBX and Emergency Management activities at UCSF Benioff Children#s Hospital Oakland. #Reports to the Director of Employee Well-Being and Environment of Care.
Position Requirements: Technical Knowledge: Knowledgeable of hospital, community, Homeland Security, local, state and federal response procedures.# Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Minimum Education: #Bachelor#s Degree required. #Master#s Degree highly preferred.
Minimum Experience: Four years experience of disaster planning, emergency management, emergency preparedness, or emergency response required. Completion of IS-100, 200, 700 # 800 preferred Prior experience with National Incident Management System/Hospital Incident Command Center Prior training, certification and experience in the following areas strongly preferred: emergency planning and management, emergency department, emergency medical services and/or fire services, risk management, and hazardous materials management Additional Minimum Requirements: ## # Valid California driver#s license Certified Heathcare Emergency Professional (CHEP) within first 12 months of hire.
Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) strongly preferred Associate Emergency Manager (AEM) preferred HAZWOPER certification preferred Ability to make quick and sound decisions during crisis situations. Ability to makes sound decisions based on fact rather than emotion. Physical Requirements:
