Baptist Health is hiring a Emergency Department Technician for the Free-Standing Emergency Department located at Baptist St. Augustine. This is a Full-Time Evening 11:00 AM-11:00 PM shift opportunity with a commitment of 36 hours per week. This is a hybrid position where you will help with patient care/ procedures and also help at the desk with answering phones, call bells, completing consults, and assisting with admissions/transfers.

As a Emergency Department Technician, you will be responsible for:
Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living;
Maintaining a safe environment;
Collecting lab specimens;
Intake and Output monitoring;
Electronic medical record documentation;
Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
