Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians.

This is a Full-Time (72 hours per pay period) varied 12-hour NIGHT shift with a rotating schedule that may include weekends at Scripps Encinitas.

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas serves the communities of San Diego's coastal North County. We offer a full range of clinical and surgical services, including North County's first Primary Stroke Center, a regionally recognized brain injury program, state-of-the-art imaging center, 24-hour emergency room care and award-winning OB-GYN, maternal health and infant health services.

Join our Scripps Encinitas team of Emergency Services. As an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech), you will support emergency department or urgent care by performing basic emergency medical procedures as directed under supervision, assists nurses and physicians in the performance of their functions.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

• Certified CA state issued EMT (EMT, AEMT or Paramedic) or CNA
• BLS Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• One (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting

• Experience in emergency services

• EMT certification

Position Pay Range: $22.29-$30.58/hour
