Emergency Department Tech / NA II

As a member of the Emergency Medical Services team, the Emergency Room#Technician provides direct and indirect patient care through protocols set by FirstHealth of Carolina to maintain safe and effective patient flow in the Emergency Room.# The Emergency Room#Technicians works under the supervision of the Emergency Room Charge Nurse and the medical direction of the ER Physician, and is accountable for providing care within established standards of practice.# The ER Technician maintains required certifications and skills by participation in continuing education, practical skills testing, and the re-certification processes set by the state of North Carolina and FirstHealth. Current North Carolina Emergency Medical Services Paramedic certification/licensure is required.

(AEMT)# Current NC Nursing Assistant# Level II certification#
