Emergency Department Metro Float Pool RN- Part Time Nights

Job Description

We are looking for an experience RN to join our Emergency Department Metro Float Pool. In this position you will float between out 4 metro entities:

• Saint Luke's Hospital (Plaza)
• Saint Luke's East (Lee's Summit)
• Saint Luke's South (Overland Park)
• Saint Luke's North (Barry Rd)

This position will provide you variety in your work, new challenges, and allow you to build professional relationships with diverse teams. We are looking for a solution focused self-starter who is passionate about their work as an ED Nurse and excited to make an impact at multiple locations and various patient communities through continuous improvement and a natural desire to go above and beyond for patients, patients' loved ones, and their peers. You will need to be adaptable and flexible in an unpredictable environment.

Shift: Part Time Nights (6:45p-7:15a)

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process.

• Perform patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.

• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Demonstrate proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience:

2 years

Advanced Cardiac Life Support

• American Heart Association or Red Cross, Basic Life Support

• American Heart Association or Red Cross, Pediatric Advanced Life Support

• American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Trauma Nurse Core Course

• Emergency Nurse Association
