Job Title: EmberJS Frontend Engineer

Location: Troy, Michigan

What you'll be doing:

  • Building applications using Electron and EmberJS

  • Creating customer friendly interfaces that interact with a range of backend services including RESTful APIs, Auth0, MapBox, Firebase, and others.

  • Using libraries such as D3 and VideoJS to manage multiple video feeds and huge data sets that need to be presented to customers rapidly

  • Utilizing JavaScript to manage robotic interfaces

What you need for this position:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent degree

  • Experience with web or mobile application development

  • Experience with Agile development methodology

  • Experience with EmberJS or equivalent Javascript Framework

  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS

  • Deep understanding of Git

  • Understanding of Github, Jira, and Continuous Integration

  • Must feel comfortable working in a fast paced environment

  • Must be capable of managing multiple tasks

  • A passion for developing

Skills and Experience required: * Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or related. * Superior programming skills and excellent attention to detail. * Proficiency in the C programming language. Python experience desired. * Excellent communication and people skills; excellent time management and organizational skills. * Strong computer science background with systems-level knowledge (e.g., networking, operating systems, file systems, clustering, high availability).
