Description:

• Motion control

• Network communications

• System level programming in C#

• Embedded C/C++ programming; RTOS

• Will be involved in all aspects of Software Lifecycle (development, testing, design, documentation)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE:

• Ability to discuss the following topics in detail from schooling or professional experience: Data structures & algorithms, operating systems, computer architecture, computer networks.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field

• Embedded C/C++

• Microprocessors

PLUS:

• Some system level C# experience

We are a NASA spin off, the work we do is very intriguing. GREAT culture. Management believes in work/life balance, working over 40 hours a week is very rare there. They offer a 980 schedule with every other Friday off.

Work Environment

Onsite 100% of the time, no remote work. Mix of office and lab setting. They have a smaller team of about 6-7 Software Engineers. This role MAY include some possible travel to trade shows, test events, etc. It is NOT a requirement for the role, but desired. Travel would only be a few weeks out of the year max, trips are only a few days at a time. They would never be alone for this travel, and all expenses would be covered.
