Minimum of 7 years of experience in real-time embedded software programming in C/C++ and debugging with emulator, preferably experience with Wind River Workbench and VxWorks real-time operating system.
Knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design, and programming techniques.
One or More of the Following skills are desired:
Experience in developing and debugging embedded software for multicore processors or knowledge of ARM processor architecture.
Experience in writing unit tests, preferably with CPPUnit.
Experience writing device drivers, preferably for Wind River VxWorks.
Embedded real-time software engineering (requirements analysis, design, testing), data structures, algorithms, and C/C++ language.

RTOS - VxWorks,
QNX, Embedded Linux

Special Instructions:
Extensive experience on C/C++ (This is a Must)
Preferred experience working with Windriver workbench & VxWorks RTOS

Experience in Agile is plus
Experience in Co-ordination and peer reviews with other team member

PURPOSE: Participate in the design, development and maintenance of firmware for products such as welding power supplies, engine driven generators, plasma cutters, and industrial automation equipment. JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES) * Programming 32-bit microcontrollers in C using Real-Time Operating Systems * Reading and interpreting electronic schematics and component data sheets * Some PC tool development using C# and/or C++ * Testing and documentation of firmware designs * Testing and debugging communications within industrial automation networks (e.g. CAN, Ethernet/IP), Internet protocols (e.g. HTTP, FTP), and wireless (e.g. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth). BASIC REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum four-year engineering degree is required. Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering is preferred. * Minimum of 3-5 years engineering experience * Must have industry experience writing C for embedded platforms. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent organization skills. * Initiative to take ownership of product designs. * Knowledge of power electronics and/or motor controls a plus.
