Job Description: As Embedded Software Lead in The Bose Automotive Systems Division, you will lead the team that design, implement and verify the software based on Autosar architecture and methodology for Bose amplifiers.
You should have a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and be comfortable in working in a fast-paced multi-task environment in order to deliver quality software to meet OEMs requirement.
Responsible for leading a SW team to design, develop, and configure full stack of Autosar components for amplifier software. Act as Autosar Subject Matter Expert (SME) for programs during design, reviews, integration and failure investigations.
Provide guidance for other software engineers on the subject of Autosar. Assure your teams work compliance with company plans, processes and procedures. Build strong collaborative relationships with other functional disciplines within and outside the division Required Skills and Experience Minimum B.S. in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent. 8+ years experience in embedded software development. 3+ years experience in leading a software team.
A proven track record of developing and delivering Autosar compliant software for embedded system. Strong knowledge of the Autosar stack and familiarity with Autosar tool chain. Strong software development skills, particularly in C/C++, and proficient with scripting languages.
Strong understanding of software development life-cycle practices and processes, such as CMMI, Aspice, Agile etc. Excellent oral and written communications skills in English, including ability to produce clear and concise technical software documentation Desired Skills and Experience Master's Degree (M.S.) or higher in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field Experience with DSP audio processing Experience with MATLAB/Simulink Experience with other high level computer languages, such as Java, C#. #LI-RA1 Bose is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
