Working as a member of the Software Center of Excellence team, come astonish our Bose Automotive Division with your outstanding ability to manage software projects and deliver software for a superlative audio experience in a car. Role: As Software Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for all aspects of software testing for the embedded software development team within the Automotive Systems Division. You will work cross-functionally to develop automated testing at white-box and black box levels to deliver top quality software that delights our customers.

Required skills / experience: 4 years of software test/development experience Demonstrated ability to: Prepare and create test plans, test cases for software based on functional documentation and application Execute test cases, find and document issues Develop test data, perform test data analysis, and prepare reports of test results Provide process improvement recommendations Experience in Python and/or PERL programming Experience in embedded development and/or unit testing embedded products Good written and verbal communication skills BS in Computer Science or equivalent Preferred skills / experience: Experience in signal processing development or test Experience with Object Oriented Programming Experience with MatLab, Simulink Experience with CMMI methodology Experience in the automotive industry Good organizational skills (time management and planning) and attention to details #LI-RA1 Bose is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.

VIEW JOBS 12/23/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-03-22T00:00 Job Description As Embedded Software Engineer in The Bose Automotive Systems Division, you will work with the team that design, implement and verify the software based on Autosar architecture and methodology for Bose amplifiers. You should have a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and be comfortable in working in a fast-paced multi-task environment in order to deliver quality software to meet OEMs’ requirement. Responsibilities: Working with SW team to design, develop, and configure full stack of Autosar components for amplifier software. Act as Autosar Subject Matter Expert (SME) for programs during design, reviews, integration and failure investigations. Provide guidance for other software engineers on the subject of Autosar. Build strong collaborative relationships with other functional disciplines within and outside the division Required Skills and Experience Minimum B.S. in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent. 8+ years’ experience in embedded software development. 3+ years experience in leading a software team. A proven track record of developing and delivering Autosar compliant software for embedded system. Strong knowledge of the Autosar stack and familiarity with Autosar tool chain. Strong software development skills, particularly in C/C++ Strong understanding of software development life-cycle practices Excellent oral and written communications skills in English, including ability to produce clear and concise technical software documentation Desired Skills and Experience Master's Degree (M.S.) or higher in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field Proficient with scripting languages - Python Experience with CMMI, ASPICE, Agile is desired Experience with other high level computer languages, such as Java, C#. #LI-RA1 Bose is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
