Our products fill vital needs in a broad range of applications that are essential to everyday life including food preservation, antibiotic formulation, dialysis treatment, energy production and more. 400 47th St., Niagara Falls, NY 14304 What you'll do: The daily supervision of the production units resulting in safe and efficient operation, while producing on quality product, in a timely cost-efficient manner. * Operation of assigned production unit in compliance with established policies, procedures, permits and regulatory requirements * Meeting or exceeding performance standards of assigned production unit including production rate, on-stream time, and raw material efficiency * Meeting or exceeding quality specifications for manufactured products * Prioritization and resolution of manufacturing difficulties (process or mechanical) * Continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reliability, and responsiveness to the customer * Control of working capital and the promotion of inventory control principles * Maintaining records pertinent to unit operations, preparing regular performance reports, communicating throughout the organization, and convening regular meetings with operating personnel * Training of assigned personnel and support of these requirements for outside contractors * Control of finished goods including satisfactory delivery to the customer * Control of period costs * Selection of new personnel, performance appraisals, and disciplinary action * Maintaining a safe and orderly workplace * Personal and professional development of skills * All other duties as assigned SENIOR PRODUCTION ENGINEER - Niagara Falls, NY About Kerry: A career with Kerry Applied Health & Nutrition offers you an opportunity to shape how people across the globe view food and beverage while providing you opportunities to explore and grow as your interests do.
