Software development of Digital Instrument Panel Cluster (ECU) on a project for the client. This being software for embedded product needs the engineering skills of Electronics or Electrical and Microcomputer Software (Microcontroller). The code development should be comply to ASPICE standard
Engineering Software Interface for the ECU
The analysis and implementation of communication interface between peripheral in ECU and critical parts of the vehicle such as Head-up Display, Tire-pressure measurement system, HMI, Steering wheel switches, Diagnostics module etc. These interface including MOST, CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet, MOST communication protocols.
AUTOSAR compliant Software Architecture
Perform analysis by understanding low level details of embedded systems using schematics of product and data sheets of peripherals supplied by third party partners. Propose and demonstrate improvements for better performance by analyzing present design and by creating proto-types of software system. The software architecture should comply to AUTOSAR standard
Microcomputer Based Architecture
Work with architectures based on Renesas, Freescale and NXP microcontrollers to design software components that are both power efficient and time/space efficient. Analyze and propose improvement of key customer factors such as boot-up time, low-power management etc. Understand software requirements and work on software development on Microcontrollers with RISC architecture such as ARM Cortex A57 (ARMv8) or equivalent, specifically Renesas RCAR and RH850.
