The Email Systems Analyst will work alongside the data operations team members, including data integrity analysts and campaign specialists. This role will primarily focus on email deliverability and best practices and will also work with data operations team members to cross train and build a coverage model to avoid any single points of failure. The Email Systems Analyst manages email campaigns, utilizing SQL and reporting tools to provide support, troubleshoot issues, and provide feedback to both manager and data operations colleagues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to)

  • Understanding of industry email deliverability practices and policies including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

  • Develop and maintain effective communications with other departments regarding standards for the email delivery system.

  • Review and report key system metrics.

  • Maintain email delivery system(s) as needed and support email delivery system users.

  • Maintain a master schedule of email campaigns.

  • Develop standards for accurate and timely email delivery.

  • Identify other team members to cross train on procedures and processes for efficiency and scalability.

  • Assist in developing and documenting new and existing products and services with teams across the business.

  • Work cross functionally as needed to support technology teams (engineering, infrastructure, telephony, etc.) on a regular basis.

  • Assist in integrating the email delivery system with other internal software as needed.

  • Maintain collaborative relationship with team members to work toward delivery goals and KPIs.

  • Assist in training plan and execution to bridge specific product line processes and procedures gaps within the team.

  • Serves as a liaison between internal team members and clients to ensure the highest level of customer service.

  • Awareness of and adherence to data governance best practices.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree, or associate's degree with ample relevant experience in a technical field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical field.

  • Experience writing SQL queries.

  • Detail-oriented, excellent communication skills, and ability to troubleshoot.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.

  • Ability to process remotely as deemed necessary by manager to meet critical deadlines.

  • Ability to work overtime as deemed necessary by manager to meet critical deadlines.

  • Travel requirement: negligible

  • Ability to maintain and work in a remote home office

  • Remote/virtual work environment must be free from distractions while performing the essential functions of the job and have a reliable network connection

  • Position predominantly includes sitting/standing for long periods of time, close vision through the use of a computer screen, extensive keyboarding, talking, hearing, and infrequent light physical effort is required (minimum of fifteen pounds)
