Candidate Location

IZEA's workforce is currently 100% remote and the ideal candidate thrives with the freedom and flexibility this structure provides.

Due to this being a work-from-home opportunity, it is posted in multiple locations. However, there is currently only one opening.


Reporting to the Senior Director, Content, our Email Specialist will create, execute and monitor product and marketing email campaigns for our creator, brand and agency audiences.

The ideal candidate is a creative, data-driven individual with a proven track record. You'll be responsible for increasing engagement rates and growing our marketable email database.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute email strategies to increase customer acquisition, engagement, retention and growth.

  • Set up drip, newsletter and content-specific emails campaigns.

  • Optimize and manage product alerts and notifications.

  • Work directly with our creative services team to create, optimize and maintain email templates.

  • Collaborate with other members of the content marketing team to ensure email content is consistent with IZEA's voice and high brand standards.

  • Execute A/B tests to glean learnings and improve outcomes.

  • Manage email lists and develop target segments.

  • Be the internal champion for email best practices.

  • Deliver regular reporting and analysis of key email metrics including open rates, click-through rates and unsubscribes.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Marketing or related field and 2-4 years experience in email marketing.

  • Deep understanding of email marketing, content development and analytics.

  • Experience using an email/marketing automation platform (Hubspot preferred)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a penchant for copywriting and editing.

  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics, UTM tracking and tagging, and reporting dashboards

  • A creative mind that will work closely with our content team to craft email copy, subject lines, preheaders and CTAs.

  • Ability to take instruction and criticism

  • Comfortable working under pressure in a very fast-paced environment

  • A self-starting problem solver that works well with ambiguity and adapts well to change.

  • Proficient in cloud applications such as Google Apps, Slack, and Zoom

  • HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.

  • Interest in influencer marketing and the pain points of our customers

Due to this rapid growth, we are hiring for a remote Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Clinical Research division, Wake Research.</p><p>Wake Research strides to meet and exceed the clinical research expectations of sponsors and CROs by completing studies on time, accurately, and in compliance with all FDA regulations and clinical research protocols, and by providing measurable data and optimum results. Additionally, we provide patient-centric care and superior quality across all sites and studies.</p><p>We are looking for an experienced candidate with full-cycle recruiting experience in fast-paced and growing environments.
