We are looking for an email marketer responsible for the strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting of marketing nurture and outbound SDR email campaigns, with the objective of delivering increased sales pipeline. This role will think holistically about our sales and marketing email strategies, create messaging and cadence testing plans, manage sales copywriters to create and localize the content, implement the emails in our current tools (Outreach.io and Marketo) and test and optimize.

If you're highly collaborative, have proven experience managing stakeholder expectations within a matrixed centralized/regional marketing team, and can deliver thoughtful flawlessly executed campaigns in an iterative, changing environment, we would love to speak with you.

What you'll achieve

  • Send best in class emails that drive sales pipeline and support Asana's brand image

  • Manage the end-to-end process of email marketing nurture creation, localization, execution, and reporting, including but not limited to working with business stakeholders, creating lists, creating/updating email HTMLs, QA of emails and landing pages, creating simple and complex workflows (including AB testing), sending proofs and final emails, ensuring accurate attribution/tracking, and delivering systematic reporting

  • Work with Marketing Operations to rationalize tools and centralize all email sends through one marketing automation and one sales automation tool

  • Work with sales leaders to create high-impact SDR nurture campaigns that can be tested and scaled globally

  • Regularly communicate upcoming email campaigns and report on status and results to cross-functional stakeholders

About you

  • 3-7 years of experience in email marketing, including a deep understanding of email marketing, automation, and optimization

  • Creativity with strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization

  • Experience with marketing automation required; experience with sales outreach tools a strong plus

  • Ability to work at a large global scale

We act as a dynamic cross-functional partner across the organization finding key opportunities to impact email conversion, order conversion rate, and other primary business drivers. As a Growth Marketing Coordinator - Email Acquisition and Optimization, you will be an essential member of the team diving into data, crafting hypotheses, and implementing experiments to support the optimization of key user and cart abandoner metrics. In your first three months, you will take over and maintain existing email acquisition communications. By your first year, you will be leading varied landing page tests and site optimization projects. YOUR IMPACT * Develop, maintain, and test content across dozens of acquisition landing pages and other on-site content supporting marketing initiatives * Execute email acquisition campaigns and experiments from start to finish (conceptualization, coding, deployment, and analysis) with the goal of improving engagement and conversions * Contribute to the Growth Optimization team's testing work by crafting hypotheses, running A/B tests, analyzing, and synthesizing results * Collaborate with teams including Growth, Merchandising, and Product to launch cross-functional tests and initiatives * Be a key stakeholder in the testing roadmap, intake, and reporting processes for creative asset requests, experimentation logs and outputs, and reporting for Sr Leadership * Support surveying efforts by coordinating delivery logistics, drafting surveys, preparing data, and analyzing results ABOUT YOU * Experience building and testing hypotheses and making recommendations based on statistical data analysis * Familiarity with HTML / CSS and Sailthru or similar email marketing service providers, or willingness to learn quickly * Skilled in project management, you are organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage a large number of tests, activities, and deliverables within a deadline * Successfully collaborate with cross-functional team members and contributing to high-priority projects * Passionate about leaving a positive environmental impact in the world through your work * Background in eCommerce is a plus but not required PLEASE NOTE: There are 3 questions included as part of the application process ABOUT GROVE COLLABORATIVE: Launched in 2016 as a Certified B Corp, Grove Collaborative creates innovative natural products and offers a curated selection of healthy home essentials like cleaning supplies and personal care products.
