Summary:
The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing campaigns aimed at optimizing customer satisfaction, engagement, conversion, and retention. This entails designing, executing, and analyzing email campaigns with the goal of boosting email engagement, conversion rates, and customer loyalty. The role requires a combination of technical proficiency, creative flair, and expertise in email marketing.
Job duties & responsibilities:
Create, set up, and test one-time or automated email campaigns including targeting/segmentation, multivariate testing, tracking links, and test email rendering for consistency across all email clients (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.) and devices (desktop, mobile, tablet) for deployment within predetermined dates and times for 5-10 unique business units.
Ownership of the day-to-day, hands-on execution of all business-as-usual emails (pulling audiences, segmenting, inputting copy, and updating code) to drive awareness for new content, company announcements, and upcoming product releases as shown in the email content calendars for 3-5 unique business units.
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and legal across teams and business units to make desired/needed changes and updates to receive full approval on email messages.
Analyze email performance to identify trends and optimize future campaigns using data-driven insights to improve engagement and drive results.
Maintain a current understanding of email marketing best practices and apply them to the execution of email campaigns in alignment with Digital Marketing strategies that drive marketing-qualified and sales-qualified leads toward conversion opportunities.

Requirements:
College degree required. Marketing/Business degree preferred.
1 - 3 Years required in marketing & e-commerce

Working knowledge and understanding of Google Analytics, Excel, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL.

Experience making data-driven decisions using analytics, A/B testing, and campaign reports and dashboards
Interest in learning and maintaining best practices for email creative, testing, optimization and abiding by the latest regulations
Ability to prioritize and think strategically
Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
Positive attitude with a "can-do" attitude and a test-and-learn mindset
Strong technical aptitude and/or background preferred with an eye for detail
Ability to build relationships and collaborate in cross-functional teams, both internal and externally focused
