Email Marketing Manager
As the Email Marketing Manager, you will own our entire email marketing program. This includes drip campaigns, newsletters, list management, and overall performance. You'll work very closely with the digital marketing and product marketing teams to deliver the best content and messaging at the right time. You'll need some ambition; this isn't a program ready for only tweaks or adjustments. You'll stretch beyond the standard email roles and be involved in new tool selection and implementation, email reply solutions, SMS, landing pages, and any other overlap with other sales and marketing channels and tactics.
Email database management and segmentation based on customer journeys
List acquisition and growth through Infosec web properties as well as partners and vendors
Continual drip campaign performance improvements. Split, renew, retire, enhance.
Develop a testing-first process; including A/B testing of subject lines, body, CTAs, landing pages, and segment success
Go beyond top of funnel stats of open rates and CTRs to understand engagement with (and from) email
Work with copywriters, graphic designers, and developers to continually improve and refresh all emails
Optimize and improve newsletter program for send times, audience, frequency, personalization and journey.
Influence all email sends outside of marketing activities; in-app, sales engagement platform.
Communicate findings to influence copy, subject lines, CTAs as well as content on Infosec websites and sales collateral
2-5 years of email marketing experience
Experience using email automation tools, i.e. mandrill, mailchimp, and pardot
Creation of web copy for use in diverse marketing materials
Analytical skills and ability to identify, interpret, and use marketing analytics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with HTML coding - especially of responsive email templates
Multi-tasker with great time management and project management skills
Self-directed and able to take on responsibilities with minimal supervision
Google Analytics experience
