The Email Marketing Coordinator will support the Email Marketing Manager to optimize email marketing initiatives and drive attendance for all Advanced Manufacturing Group events. They will assist in deploying email campaigns, driving efficiencies, and ultimately increasing the number of attendance at our events. We're looking for a data-driven marketer who can generate success in email marketing and delivering growth.   • Execute targeted email strategies to engage customers, drive conversions and achieve business goals.

  • Coordinate all attendee email campaigns including routing content for editing, adding final edits to Eloqua and QA testing.

  • Maintain an email segmentation strategy and deployment calendar, driven by customer insights and email best practices.

  • Provide regular data reports to Email Marketing Manager.

  • Work with internal email and copywriting teams to develop a robust standard email campaign structure for attendee campaigns.

  • Track campaign performance and present results and ideas for improvement to Email Marketing Manager.


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field.

  • 0-2 years marketing experience

  • Analytical background and knowledge of marketing analytics tools (Omniture, email metrics, Google Analytics a plus).

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.

  • Outstanding project management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated, and high energy and team-oriented.

  • Ability to work under deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • HTML experience not required, but a plus.

  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools (e.g. Eloqua, Marketo etc.) a plus

In this role you will: Create yearly marketing editorial calendar and production schedule across all points of content production: merchandise, design, web production and IT Manage automated and triggered email programs Lead design and functionality of all non-responsive emails, implement new esponsive email templates Perform database cleaning and implement engagement filters to increase email deliverability while decreasing email cost, and increasing both open and conversion rates YOY Create custom excel dashboard for tracking all email analytic data broken out by dates, segments, mailings and promotions Identify database issues and worked with technology to fix current issues and mitigate any chances of future issues Create A/B testing schedule and modify subject lines, images, colors, placement, send times, send days and frequency of emails within segments, based on customer behavior Manage large email lists with heavily segmented groups ensuring all promotional messaging and dynamic code was accurate Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Statistics or related field * 4+ years of experience in digital/email marketing * Experience working with ESPs and email vendors * Experience with key email metrics to support and recommend innovative marketing strategies * Knowledge in CAN-SPAM and email best practices * Experience with HTML Coding * Ability and willingness to quickly learn tools and processes * Impeccable attention to detail and quality assurance * Excellent organizational skills * Ability to work in fast-paced environment while meeting aggressive deadlines * Experience working effectively with cross-functional partners * Ability to multi-task multiple projects, manage competing priorities and successfully deal with last-minute changes Beauty Counter Santa Monica CA
