About the Role:

Our email Database Marketing team is seeking an email Analyst to develop, set-up, and deploy email campaigns. This role is a collaborative partner to one or several of our Brands. This person will provide post-launch analysis of outbound email marketing campaigns and present their insights.

  • Work with individual Brand(s) or programs to develop, set-up, and launch email campaigns with heavy emphasis on customer segmentation and contact strategy, technical set-up & execution.

  • Query data and execute email campaign set-up using Email application (Responsys Interact, Cheetah Mail, Double Click, Acxiom Digital experience a plus).

  • Design/code and troubleshoot relevant business rules and segmentation for each campaign.

  • Identify customer segments, testing approach, and execute database queries/file loads

  • Use behavioral targeting tool to make recommendations and target campaigns.

  • Maintain email production calendar, processes & reporting.

  • Build event triggered campaign series.

  • Analyze & compile results to support benchmarking & program optimization. Make contract strategy recommendations by segment.

  • Execute testing scenarios using A/B splits and control groups

  • Special projects as assigned including working with IT and ESP for development projects as well as cross functional teams.

We're excited about you because you have the following qualifications...

  • A Bachelor's degree

  • 1-2 years' experience in email marketing campaign coordination or deployment

  • Comfortable working with large data sets and the ability to modify and join data from different sources. Database management experience a plus

  • Strong sense of Quality Control and experience with User-Interface testing

  • Facility with Excel and FTP tools. HTML, SQL, and ETL tools a plus

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and a fast-paced changing environment

  • Well-organized, high attention to detail, deadline-oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Enjoys working with others as part of a team

The Role * As a Campaign Manager on our Marketing team, you'll be expected to manage corporate demand-gen and email nurture campaigns, with the responsibility for setting the strategy, outlining the goals, and architecting the content required at all steps of the users' journey. * You will design campaigns that bring users through the funnel, from paid media banners, website and owned channel promotions, content syndication, emails, blogs, webinars, nurture strategies and more. * You must have experience with email marketing: communications to prospects and customers for top of the funnel content engagement, to nurture and install-base/upsell campaigns. This includes knowledge of Marketo, email best practices, message testing and optimization, calendar and distribution management. * You must have digital marketing experience. This includes experience in planning paid-media campaigns, setting up measurement frameworks, optimizing content and placements, and executing on-time, on-budget. * You will manage the campaign budget, allocating spend for creative, media, and production and ensuring each campaign delivers a strong ROI. You work with our media agency test and optimize placements and content mix. * You will work closely with various Medallia stakeholders (from Product Marketing, Analyst Relations, Professional Services, etc) to ensure the messaging is consistent and appropriate for the campaign goals. You'll partner with Medallia's creative team to ensure all campaign materials are built to spec. * You should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. Responsibilities * Orchestrate campaign plans across all channels, in partnership with Medallia marketing and our demand agency. * Architect a world-class email marketing strategy that works for various members of marketing (field marketing events, campaign comms, install-base/upsell efforts, PR and newsworthy emails, and more). * Design and manage a newsletter sent to Medallia's CRM database. * Test and recommend different content themes, formats to generate desired campaign outcomes. * Identify campaign trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights. * Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests. * Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging user journeys and optimize user experience. * Write marketing materials (draft emails, blogs, website copy, etc) to ensure we move fast.
